Read Article

Luxor Linking allows for a single point of control on sites requiring multiple Luxor ZDs or Luxor ZDCs. Linking sites consists of Primary and Satellite Luxor controllers connected by Cat5 cable. Sites are limited to nine Satellite controllers or 3,000 ft. connection between Primary controller to furthest Satellite controller.

Firmware requirements:

LUXOR FACEPACK CHASSIS
ZD v0.167 v0.24
ZDC v0.305 v0.24
LSAT N/A v0.24

NOTE: Firmware files and instructions for updating, see link.

Hardware requirements:

Primary Controller

  • Luxor ZD or Luxor ZDC - Manufacturing Datecode AUG16 or later

Satellite Controller

  • LSAT300M or LSAT300SS
  • Luxor ZD or Luxor ZDC - Manufacturing Datecode AUG16 or later can be retrofitted into a satellite controller by removing faceapck and updating Chassis firmware

NOTE: Prior to running a Linking system, verify Primary and Satellite Luxors have the latest version of Facepack (Primary controller only) and Chassis (Primary and Satellite) linking firmware.

Firmware Update Procedure
