Tudor Cottage Grabs Gazes from Passing Boaters

An acre lot filled with massive grandfather oaks and palms, the Clements Residence in Tampa Florida embodies riverfront living and creates the perfect canvas for FX landscape lights to paint on.

The Clements family loves their privacy as much as they do their back porch overlooking the majestic Hillsborough River. Lighting a property without overwhelming certain aspects and features with light can be very difficult. To overcome this complex design owners Ryan and Jenna Clements chose lighting designer Michael Derewenko with Proper Lighting and Design of Tampa Florida. Derewenko worked closely with the owners to make sure that just the right amount of light was focused in all the right areas.

The back porch was a must for railing lights so Derewenko chose the FX-LED-LF in an antique tumbled finish to blend in with the weathered wood railings. The same finish was chosen for the LE's that hang in the mangrove and oak trees to create a moonlighting effect. Moonlighting was chosen to add subtle compliments of light from above to different areas of the yard stretching the properties vista all the way to the river.

With a sea wall, front door pathway and back patio lit the tranquil environment given by the FX LED's has provided the Clement's family with a safe cozy riverside property perfect for outdoor entertaining and peaceful solitude.
