Basic Layout
Send us your site photos and our professional lighting designers will create a simple plan for your project using My Design. The approximate turnaround time is 7 business days.
General Concept
Our professional lighting designers will develop a conceptual landscape lighting plan with CAD software, including fixture placement and product legends. The approximate turnaround time is 14 business days.
Full Plan
Our professional lighting designers will use CAD software to provide complete construction documents that fully incorporate the lighting design into your plan set. The approximate turnaround time is 14 business days. The Full Plan option is currently available in the United States and Canada only.
Basic Layout
Our professional designers will use your project site photos to show fixture placement and develop a product package with My Design. The approximate turnaround time is 7 business days upon receipt of all necessary documents.
What we need to get started:- Photos of your project site, including areas where you want to install landscape lights
- Please include JPG, JPEG, PNG, or GIF files only
Services provided:
- Landscape lighting layout for one site
- Up to four areas (four separate photos) designed per site
- A minimum of 10 fixtures and one transformer will be specified for Basic Layout projects
Items delivered:
- A presentation-ready design in PDF format
- A list of included products
- A spreadsheet with all product list prices
- Product specification sheets in PDF format
General Concept
Our professional lighting designers will use CAD software and your project base files to develop a landscape lighting plan with product legends and specifications. The approximate turnaround time is 14 business days upon receipt of all necessary documents.

- Project base plan files in DWG or PDF formats
- Project planting plan files in DWG or PDF formats
- Support graphics or images of vertical project features to be illuminated
Services provided:
- Landscape lighting plan for one site
- Conceptual fixture and transformer locations
- Product legends and specifications
- One round of review and revision
- Appropriate landscape lighting notes
- A minimum of 25 fixtures and one transformer will be specified for General Concept projects
Items delivered:
- Scaled 24" x 36" (61 x 91 cm) conceptual landscape lighting plan in DWG and PDF formats
- FX Luminaire title block with customer logo
- A spreadsheet with all product list prices
- Product specification sheets in PDF format
Full Plan
Our professional designers will use CAD software and your project base files to create required construction documents for your landscape lighting plan, including graphic depictions of all fixtures and equipment, product legends and specifications, wire layout, installation details, and voltage drop calculations. The approximate turnaround time is 14 business days upon receipt of all necessary documents. The Full Plan option is currently available in the United States and Canada only.
What we need to get started:
- Project base plan files in DWG or PDF formats
- Project planting plan files in DWG or PDF formats
- Support graphics or images of vertical project features to be illuminated
- Firm title block and CAD-style information
