The Massive Butler Manor Glows Bright with FX LED's

Lighting a big house and property is not always easy, the simple answer would be to use a lot of lights. This is not necessarily true, correctly placed fixtures can do more for a properties beauty then a significant quantity. Ryco lighting designer Colin Taheny is well aware of this theory and had to apply it at great length to this sprawling white marble manor.

The 18,000 square foot manor has a relatively tight footprint on the property but what it lacks in width it makes up in height. Stretching light to the peaks of certain rooftops and trees can be tough sometimes if the fixtures are not putting out enough light. This is not a problem for the modest 3LED FB up lights. Taheny chose to use amber filters on trees to highlight the warmer tones presented by the canopies. While the white marble of the house didn't require any filters as the cooler tones given by FX LED's was exactly what was needed to highlight the custom stonework.

The massive backyard was lit with HC path lights and the BBQ area with LF wall lights. Imported blue slate was used throughout the backyard and stairways, the owner's were certain they wanted this feature brought to the attention of guests. The path lights did this with ease and since the installation the house has been recognized by fellow lake neighbors and stone connoisseurs alike.
