LumaKey™ Utility - Quick Start Guide

The LumaKey™ Utility is a device that wirelessly assigns low-voltage LED fixtures with Luxor Technology™ to groups. To use the LumaKey™ Utility, confirm that Bluetooth is enabled on both the smart device (phone or tablet) and the Luxor® App. Bluetooth pairing between the smart device and the LumaKey™ Utility is not required.

LUMAkey Status Led  Description
Off LUMAkey utility not powered ON or in assignment mode.  
Green LUMAkey utility is powered ON and in assignment mode. 
Blue Successful assignment 
  1. Confirm Bluetooth® is enabled for both the Smart Device (phone or tablet) and the Luxor App.
  2. Open the Luxor App and hit the menu button.
  3. Select Assign Lights from the Settings menu.
  4. Select the LumaKey device.
  5. Confirm the lighting fixtures have entered Assignment Mode. They will dim and flash rapidly.
  6. Walk to the fixture you want to assign. From the dropdown menu, choose the desired Group for this fixture.
  7. Point the LumaKey Utility at the fixture’s light source. Press and hold the LumaKey Assignment button. When the LumaKey status LED changes from green to blue, the fixture is assigned. Confirm the fixture turns OFF.
  8. Verify the “Assignment successful” notification appears. Press the center button to turn the status LED OFF. To assign more fixtures, repeat the steps. Press BACK to exit Assignment Mode and confirm all fixtures turn OFF.
